The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) is Ready to Host TILOG 2014 The Showcase of Thailand’s Logistics Capabilities in driving forward International Trade opportunities
The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) in collaboration with public and private sectors jointly organizes TILOG 2014 to push ahead with Thailand’s logistics development. This is one of the biggest fairs which promotes Thailand’s logistics capabilities, drives entrepreneurs to reach their full business potentials, and build up/expand business network in order to be ready for the growing competition under ASEAN free trade agreement.
Mrs.Nantawan Sakuntanaga, Director-General of the Department of international Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce, stated that as a result of ASEAN trade liberalization commenced in 2015, DITP has realized
the importance of logistics efficiency development for international entrepreneurs and Thai logistics operators in order to retain their competitive advantages.
DITP in collaboration with logistics-related public and private sectors is organizing the 11th Thailand International Logistics Fair 2014: TILOG 2014 under the concept of “ASEAN+6 LOGISTICS CONNECTIVITY”, on September 24-27, 2014 at Building 101-102, Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Bangna. This fair will offer logistics operators a great opportunity to present their innovations, products, and services to local and international manufacturers and business owners. TILOG 2014 is a leading networking platform for all logistics sectors in ASEAN+6 countries. It is also a place where international entrepreneurs can find the right logistics products and services to maximize their capabilities and efficiency within business operations.
At TILOG 2014, there will be a wide range of products and services offered by both local and international entrepreneurs which include logistics operators, hardware manufacturers, software and IT service providers. A very special and useful activity such as Business Matching will also be featured to assist with the business capabilities and efficiency development. For your convenience, the registration of the Business Matching activity will be provided in advance and assisted by our well-trained staff. For any interested parties, a dedicated negotiation area for business dealings will be facilitated for you at the fair.
TILOG 2014 will also feature many special exhibitions which promote the image of Thailand’s logistics industry and its innovations such as “The Greening of Freight Transport”, a special design technique of freight transport which is proven to produce better energy efficiency, reduction of operating costs, and more environmentally friendly solutions. The visitors of the exhibitions will also have a chance to receive detailed information on the integration and connectivity of ASEAN+6 Logistics Network. Moreover, the exhibitions will include achievements of 2014 Excellent Logistics Management Award (ELMA), an international standard award for Thai entrepreneurs who thrive in logistics management as well.
There will also be an international symposium participated by the logistics experts from the ASEAN+6 countries and an Asia-Pacific Trade Facilitation Forum 2014 (APTFF 2014) which will provide a platform for information and knowledge exchange together with trade facilitation guidelines within Asia-Pacific. There will also be seminars held by various government sectors such as councils, confederations and associations where local and international experts are invited to participate and share their extensive knowledge and experiences to help keep us up to date with the latest logistics trends.
“TILOG 2014 is a golden opportunity for the participating entrepreneurs to be exposed to new logistics products, services and innovations from both the leading local and overseas operators. It is also a great opportunity to conduct trade negotiations and build up stronger logistics network. Moreover, the knowledge and experiences that are shared at the fair will benefit the businesses in developing much more effective business management systems which will become an important factor in maintaining and raising their competition level and also in expanding trade opportunities to ASEAN and global markets more aggressively.” said Mrs. Nantawan.
TILOG 2014 will be held on 24-27 September 2014, at Building 101-101 Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Center (BITEC), Bangna. Students who are interested can attend between 26-27 September.
